Cibinong, Geospatial News -Student of Hasan Al-Banna Integrated Islamic School visited the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG). It was exciting!
Since early morning, heavy dark clouds hung over the sky of Cibinong. However, the atmosphere did not decrease the enthusiasm of students of Hasan Al-Banna Integrated Islamic Kindergarten and Elementary School. A total of 80 students from the school located in Depok, accompanied by teachers, have gathered at the BIG field since 08.30.
The visit began with drone flight practice. The students look enthusiastic when the drone airs. The drone is one of the tools used in carrying out the mapping process.
After completed the drone flight practice, the Staff of BIG directed the Students to a room to start the presentation session. They listened to further explanations of how BIG is doing the mapping. Head of BIG Promotion and Cooperation Sri Lestari Munajati welcomed the group of TK and SD IT Hasan Al-Banna.
"BIG is always open to receiving visits from schools who want to learn geospatial information," said Lestari.
On that occasion, all kindergarten and elementary school students of Hasan Al-Banna received a new insight about maps production delivered by Andreas, topographical and toponym mapping center's staff, and knowledge of the atlas presented by Zidni, the staff of the Spatial and Atlas Mapping Center.
In addition to new knowledge, students who courageously answer and throw questions get unique souvenirs from the Geospatial Information Agency. (MAD)
