Yesterday Wednesday (06/11) dozens of students from IT Tunas Bangsa High School, Depok City, West Java visited the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG).

Located in the BIG Cibinong Main Hall, Bogor, students are welcomed by the Promotion and Cooperation Staff.

Representing the Head of Promotion and Cooperation, BIG Product Services Section Head Dian Ardiansyah in his remarks hoped that with this study visit activities students and students would better understand the importance of Geospatial Information for life in society.

"I hope that the younger siblings from Tunas Bangsa High School can absorb as much knowledge as they can when visiting BIG," said Dian

Meanwhile, Agus as the assistant teacher at the event expressed his gratitude to BIG who had received a visit from students of class X and XI of the Social Sciences Study program.

"We are very grateful to all parties at BIG who have received our study visit, hopefully, this will become a new learning venue for students, especially regarding earth science". he said.

The students received a variety of materials regarding Geospatial Information, including BIG Profile by the Head of Product Services Division Dian Ardiansyah, Mapping Indonesian Rupabumi by Tika Nurhasanah, Remote Sensing and Research by Dr. Yosef Prihanto. and the National Geospatial Information Network by Bondan Vittorini.

In addition to theoretical material, dozens of students were also given introductory material and procedures for operating unmanned aircraft (Drones).

The enthusiasm was felt from the visit of 80 students, the visit which started at 09.00 WIB lasted for 2.5 hours. (/ AR).
