Bogor, Geospatial News - Monday 30 September 2019, BIG held a socialization event about "One Data Indonesia" which took place at the BIG Main Hall in Cibinong, Bogor Regency. The event was attended by around 80 structural and functional officials at BIG.
The program was officially opened by the Chief Secretary of BIG, Muhtadi Ganda (Ganda). In his remarks, Quoted from 2 months ago, welcomed on 17 July 2019 Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 39 of 2019 concerning SDI has been promulgated in the State Gazette.
"This Perpres is essentially stipulated: government data management policy to produce data that is accurate, current, integrated, and can be accounted for, easily accessed and shared between related governments, compliance with data standards, metadata, data interoperability, and uses data and data exchange," Clearly Double
According to this Presidential Regulation 39/2019, BIG is given a mandate as a supervisor at the central level geospatial data, invited to:
a. Implement data standards that apply across central and regional agencies;
b. determine the standard structure and format of metadata;
c. provide recommendations in the data collection planning process;
d. re-examine data priorities, and
e. provide guidance on the implementation of SDI.
"Therefore, this meeting requests that all employees know to know about this Perpres, with the source who gave birth to the issuance of this Perpres," said Ganda.
The event continued with a core program of socialization moderated by Deputy IIG BIG, Adi Rusmanto. Present as the first speaker was the Deputy for Development Monitoring, Evaluation and Control of the Ministry of National Development Planning / Bappenas Taufik Hanafi who delivered a presentation entitled "Indonesian Data One Policy". The second speaker was the Head of the PPIG BIG Center, Khafid who gave a presentation entitled "The Role of BIG in the One Map Policy". (ATM)
