Activities conducted by the National Coordinating Agency for Surveys and Mapping through the Map Reading Workshop in 2009 ended in Mojokerto regency Trowulan District, from all over the workshop which was held today reached 31 provinces, including counties and cities, this is expressed by the chairman of the committee activities workshops Read Map of Sri Lestari Munajati which took place in Trowulan Tuesday 12 November 2009.
This workshop is part of an activity that took place from November 11 to 15 are Daily in Majapahit Exhibition Trowulan, this activity was implemented to support and provide learning of geography teachers in Mojokerto regency, which will provide additional knowledge and increase understanding of learning for students in their area.
Map Read this Workshop conducted in cooperation between the Price of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
The accounts presented in this activity is on the scale of the Global Mapping Technology to Scale Detail, Reading Topographic Maps, Digital Mapping Techniques Applications, Use of GPS and Practice Field.
Wokrshop which occurred in the Exhibition Room of Metal, Majapahit in Trowulan Information Center was opened by Professor Risert Bakosurtanal, Aris Poniman, followed by more than 50 geography teachers in Mojokerto regency. On this occasion Poniman Aris said that the intent and purpose of this Map Reading Workshop is to provide knowledge about what it maps, how to read, how the mapping from global scale to scale and detail mafaat map itself to the public, especially for teachers of Geography which would then be reduced to students in school so early literacy map, on the other hand Head of Research and Development Center for Culture, the ministry, Harry Waluyo representing the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, this workshop may provide additional knowledge about maps in general other than mentioned in the books learning already exists.
Each session runs workshop participants to ask questions addressed to presenters and participants until the session ends still in the spirit of following the workshop.
In this occasion the participants hoped that the committee can facilitate wokrshop in getting the books concerned with the learning process like a book I read a map, and ultimately the participants, it seems that these activities can be carried out continuously.
