?The AD Headquarters of Education and Training Center Headquarters Studied Knowledge to BIG

Cibinong, Geospatial News - A total of 68 students and 7 lecturers from the Center for Intelligence Education (Pusdikintel) Kodiklat AD Headquarters visited the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG) on Tuesday, March 26, 2019. Such visits included frequent visits by many who want to learn and find out more. much about BIG, along with matters related to technical mapping. This visit aims to increase the insight of the Army, especially regarding Indonesia's geographical system.

The visit from the Army Headquarters Education and Training Center was received at Building S, the BIG Main Hall by the Head of the BIG Boundary Mapping Center (PPBW) Ade Komara Mulyana, along with other visiting speakers from the work units in BIG. Ade revealed that BIG had worked closely with the TNI to safeguard Indonesian sovereignty. Geospatial and intelligence agencies have fused to utilize Geospatial Information (IG) for purposes. In addition, Ade also revealed that BIG is very open to share knowledge with all levels of society.

"Geospatial and intelligence agencies have been fused to utilize geospatial information for purposes," said Ade.

Commander of the Education and Training Center of Kodiklat Letkol Inf Endang Nurmansyah expressed his gratitude to BIG for the warm welcome for welcoming the arrival at BIG. Endang also expressed hope for this visit, namely that students get knowledge and experience that can be shared with their fellow students. Because students who come are officers from several units namely infantry, riders and others. It's just that many are placed at the border, so students can learn a lot about the boundaries.

After the remarks, BIG gave a souvenir as a token of remembrance to the TNI AD Pusdikintel. Then the next session is exposure. The first presentation was entitled "Limits for Sovereignty" from the Regional Boundary Mapping Center, Ade Komara Mulyana. As an opening, Ade conveyed about BIG's profile. Ade said that BIG used to be the National Survey and Mapping Coordinating Board (Bakosurtanal) and changed to become Geospatial Information Agency (BIG) based on Law No. 4 of 2011 concerning IG. Next, Ade continued explaining the Limits for Sovereignty.

The second presentation was an explanation of the material from the Rupabumi Mapping Center and Toponim Maratun Sholihah, and was concluded by the Center for Management and Dissemination of Geospatial Information, Liza Ichiana Nizar by practicing the tanahair.indonesia.go.id website.
