Born in Jakarta on October 23, 1973, received her Bachelor's degree in 1998 in the Department of Marine Science, Faculty of Fisheries - University of Riau (UNRI). Then in 2010 she obtained a master's degree through a double degree program in Geo-Information for Spatial Planning and Risk Management at the UGM Postgraduate School and Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation at the Faculty of ITC, Twente University, in Enschede, The Netherlands.
She has had a career at BIG since 2003 and was Head of the Sub-Division of Head Administration in 2011-2013. After returning from her doctorate, she became a researcher in the Research Field - Center for Research, Promotion and Cooperation. In 2020, she was appointed as Head of the Research Field until 2022. During that period, precisely July 1, 2020 - April 2021, she was assigned as Acting Head of the Geospatial Training Center. During her service as a Civil Servant (PNS), Dewi received the Satya Lencana Karya Satya XX on July 2, 2024. On July 3, 2024, Dewi was assigned as Acting Head of the Geospatial Information Competency Development Center and on February 19, 2025, she was inaugurated as Head of the Geospatial Information Competency Development Center.
