Cibinong, Geospatial News – Head of the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG) Muh Aris Marfai inaugurated Ibnu Sofian as Deputy for Geospatial Information Infrastructure (IIG) BIG, Tuesday, January 5, 2022, in the BIG Main Hall. Ibnu, who previously held the Head of the Bureau of Personnel and Law at BIG, was inaugurated to occupy the position of Deputy for IIG, which Adi Rusmanto once filled.
In his speech, Aris explained that the mutations and promotions were aimed at improving employee performance and a form of regeneration. Both of these things are needed to support organizational performance.
"The main function of civil servants is service. BIG strives to provide reliable services in the field of geospatial information. Within the framework of bureaucratic reform, this momentum is a time for us to introspect in improving ourselves to provide the best service for the community," said Aris.
Regarding the work area of the Deputy for IIG, Aris hopes that there will be an increase in the provision and dissemination of geospatial information to be utilized by stakeholders, including ministries, institutions, local governments, communities, and industry.
In addition to inaugurating the Deputy for IIG BIG, Aris inaugurated Suarlan, who previously held the functional position of personnel analyst, to become a functional policy analyst. The inauguration and oath-taking ceremony was held in a hybrid manner by inviting BIG employees and partners. (MAD/RKI)
