BIG Once Again Held an Innovation Award Namely Innovation on the use of IG

Cibinong, Geopasial News - As a geospatial information builder, BIG gives awards to IG innovation activists. In 2019 BIG will once again hold an innovation award, namely the Innovation of IG utilization. This activity is the second year since it was first held in 2017, several categories including:

1. Inovasi Pemanfaatan Informasi Geospasial

2. The 2nd Geo Innovation Boothcamp dengan tema : "Pemanfaatan Aplikasi Peta Kita"

The Bhumandala Award is a prestigious event organized by the Geopasial Information Agency, this award is a form of appreciation for ministries / agencies, local governments, as well as all aspects of society in utilizing the use of Geospatial Information, which has a large and positive impact on the public.

In 2019, there are several local governments that were awarded the Bhumandala Award for the first best innovation category including:

1. Manado City Government

2. Kulon Progo Regency Government

3. Bandung City Government

4. Semarang City Government

As for the second best innovation achieved by the Makassar City Government, and Sleman Regency Government.

As for the winners of the 2nd Geo Innovation Boothcamp event with the theme: "Utilizing Our Map Application"

the category of college student is won by:

1. University of Eleven March

2. Collaboration of Bandung Institute of Technology Students and Indonesian Education University.

3. Sepuluh November Institute of Technology Surabaya

For awards for the general public category and other categories won by:

1. Pengkol Village, Boyolali Regency

2. Joint Team from the Ministry of PUPR and ATR / BPN.

The use of geospatial information based on our map application is one of BIG's efforts in strengthening spatial data validation and promoting the participatory navigation application of our map.

The winners of the 2019 Bhumandala Award received appreciation from the Minister of PPN / Head of the Republic of Indonesia Bappenas Bambang Brodjonegoro who immediately handed over the prize certificates to the participants.

In addition to the Minister of PPN / Head of Bappenas, present at the Bhumanda Award this time the Head of the National Narcotics Commissioner Heru Winarko, the Head of ANRI M Taufik, the High Leadership Representative of the Institutional Ministry, as well as the Mayor of Manado, the Mayor of Semarang, the Deputy Regent of Sleman and many more.

At the end of the 2019 National Geospatial Information Day, it was closed with the performance of the BIG Angklung Team, as well as musicians from the Bogor area of West Java. (IP / AR).
