In order to give awards to geospatial information innovators, the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG) awards the Bhumandala Award and the award for Geo innovation Booth Camp winners. The awarding was also carried out in order to welcome geospatial information or the 50th anniversary of BIG.
As a builder of geospatial information, BIG gives awards to IG innovation activists. Bhumandala is an Award given to activists who innovate the use of IG. In 2019, BIG received IG's commitment to the Regency / City government. This activity is the second year since it was first held in 2017.
The awarding of innovation in the use of geospatial information is a form of BIG appreciation to the Regional Government of the Regency that has succeeded in developing and implementing an innovative IG in its governance management.
For this year awards were given to 4 gold or best winners and 2 winners of superior innovation or silver. The 4 best innovation winners or Gold are 1. Manado-Panada City, 2. Kulonprogo-Bumiku Regency, 3. Bandung-Bandung City Smart Map Plus, 4. Semarang City-1 (one) Investment Click. The award was given by the Minister of PPN-Head of Bappenas, Bambang Brojonegoro to the winners. Manado City was received by Manado Mayor GS Vicky Lumentut, the winner of the Kulonprogo Regency was represented by the Assistant for Economic Development Administration and SDA Bambang Tri, the winner of Bandung City was represented by the Bandung Regional Secretariat, Ema Sumarna, the winner of the Semarang City was received by the Mayor of Semarang, Hendra Pribadi.
Winners of Excellence Innovations (Silver) are 1. Sleman Regency - Sleman Disaster Information System; 2. Makassar City- Makassar City GIS Web. The award was given by the Minister of PPN / Ka Bapppenas, Bambang Brojonegoro to the Deputy Regent of Sleman representing the Sleman Regency, while the award for Makassar City was given to representatives from Makassar City.
Besides the Bhumandala Award, another award is an award for the 2nd winner
Bootcamp Geoinovation 2019, the organization of Geo innovation this year has the theme "Organizing Our Map Application for Participatory Village Mapping". This activity is for students and the general public. The winners of the 2019 geo-innovation for the Student category are as follows: Winner 1 is the Tawangmangu Village Group Regional and City Planning University of Negeri Eleveneri March (UNS Solo), the 2nd winner is the Group Tiluhiji ITB-UPI, the 3rd Winner is the Superteam Group ITS Geomatics Engineering.
For the general category, the best winners were the Boyolali District Pengkol Village Group - the local community and the Serdang village group (Tanjung Bintang). (YI)
