Still in the series of orientation of Prospective Civil Servants (CPNS) Geospatial Information Agency (BIG) in 2019, on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, a seminar on "Exploring the Potential of Self and Preparing to Support World Class Government" was held. Participants were 50 CPNS BIGs in 2019, with a guest speaker Former Minister of Education and Culture 2009-2014 term, Mohammad Nuh.
Located in the BIG Hall, Gedung S Lt. 2, BIG Office, Cibinong, the seminar was opened by BIG Head, Hasanuddin Zainal Abidin. In his remarks, Hasanuddin thanked Mohammad Nuh for being willing to share his knowledge and experience with CPNS BIG. "Thank you Prof. Noah has come to BIG to share his knowledge and experience. I hope CPNS can explore his knowledge and hopefully his presence today can bring blessings to CPNS BIG, "said the head of BIG.
The event then continued with remarks from the Head of Personnel Section Aburrasyid. He expressed his gratitude for the presence of Mohammad Nuh at today's program. In his remarks, Abdurrayid explained that BIG had only one head office in Indonesia, namely in Cibinong, and BIG did not have a branch office anywhere.
Former Minister of Education and Culture, Mohammad Nuh then gave input to CPNS BIG in order to become a useful civil servant for the country. "There are two values that will make civil servants useful, namely being a loyal person and always grateful for everything. For example, being grateful for being a CPNS BIG because to become a CPNS must defeat thousands of people, "Mohammad Nuh said in his speech.
"Every generation has its own life sheet, carve out every sheet of history with achievements," he said. According to Mohammad Nuh, a person cannot be a follower, because a follower will never be a leader. If you want a change from followers to leaders, then there must be changes in the intensity of speed and accuracy that must change, so there are two things that affect. Mohammad Nuh added that even better, BIG could make changes by becoming a 'leader' among agencies in Indonesia.
"At present there is a massive innovation in the field of human resources because the Indonesian government will be victorious in 2045, because Indonesia has adequate resources. But it must be able to use it well, "he told the participants.
It also said that in advancing this nation there are things that must be focused, namely education and health. "Quality for good resources is influenced by the quality of education and health of a country. For this reason, the Indonesian Government has tried to improve it. For example in the education sector, there is the Bidik Misi program and the LPDP program, "said Mohammad Nuh.
